I never knew this poem was originally by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. It brings back memories of snuggling with my Nana, reading Mother Goose. Enjoy!
Welcome to the place where my wheels turn, or churn - depending on my mood I suppose! This is my home online, where I'll be writing about the process of trying to fulfill my dream of publishing my drawings and paintings. I hope you'll bookmark my page if you like what you see and feel free to make yourself at home - leave me a note or two. You can also follow me on Twitter @seancreatesit. Sketch: The girl with the curl ...

Two completed paintings
I'm in the process of rounding out my portfolio. Here are two recently competed acrylic paintings that are hanging in my kids' rooms.
Just getting started
Today begins my journey toward fulfilling my goal of becoming a published children's illustrator. This blog serves to document my successes and failures, and I'll be posting photos of my work, and other updates relating to my craft as well. I hope you'll stop by often and check it out!
